Places to go
We know there’s plenty of places to go and things to do in Sydney already. Our goal towards 2030 is to encourage everyone to get out and explore our city and make the most of all it has to offer.
We’re breathing new life into the heart of the City and taking a fresh look at existing cultural precincts around town. Our current priorities are Chinatown and Oxford Street though other exciting areas are getting a helping hand too.
That doesn’t mean we are neglecting the key services we offer our residents, people who work in the city and visitors from outside the area, around the state and overseas.
We want everyone to use and enjoy the facilities we provide, especially our pools, parks and public squares, where people can come together, connect, relax and enjoy themselves.
